After our run to Lysterfield last weekend, my sisters and I decided to try Stella’s Kitchen—and wow! The food was absolutely beautiful, and the flavours were incredible. The scones are the best I’ve had in Melbourne: perfectly crunchy on the outside and so fluffy inside. I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I honestly think this place deserves one.
What a gem! Stunning views over the vineyards set the scene perfectly. We worked our way through fresh produce, fluffy scones, silky cannelloni and a golden apple pie — every bite was a winner. The lovely Ruby topped it all off with my cappuccino and the warmest smile. An absolute must-visit!
Our favourite brunch spot! Always a lovely atmosphere even on rainy days but a beautiful spot at Lysterfield for walk if the sun’s out. The food and drink is great and quick to come out. The staff are warm and attentive, our waitress Ruby I’ve had a few times and always makes sure we’re well taken care of on our visits. Can’t recommend enough, 5 stars!!
A beautiful, well designed setting to suit everyone. The food is top class. The gnocchi was the best I’ve had followed by authentic pannacotta, beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and attentive. When finished we visited the produce store and bought some fresh fruit and other goodies. I will definitely be back.

Had such a beautiful experience at Stella’s Kitchen in Lysterfield. From the moment we arrived, Chantelle made us feel so welcome, Her customer service is truly exceptional. She has this amazing way of making you feel like a friend rather than just a customer, which honestly makes all the difference. You can tell she genuinely cares, and it really elevates the whole experience. The food was just as impressive. The mushroom breakfast was absolutely incredible. perfectly cooked thyme-marinated mushrooms served on crispy potato rostis, with sautéed spinach, poached eggs, feta, and their homemade apple chutney… which is SO good it honestly made me want to buy a jar and take it home, so i bought two.The flavours all work together so perfectly, it’s one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. And I have to give a special shoutout to the scones with their homemade raspberry jam, fresh, soft, and easily some of the best I’ve had. I’m not a coffee drinker myself, but my coffee-loving friend was in absolute heaven, which says a lot because she does not hand out coffee compliments lightly 😂 Between the beautiful setting, amazing food, and standout service, this place is definitely one we’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
Me, my husband and our dog visited Stella’s kitchen for brunch. The food and drinj was served up very quickly after we ordered. Our hot chocolates were perfect, warm, right sweetness and came with thick layer of foam. It gave me a vibe of the best hot chocolate on christmas eve night as soon as i took a sip. The chip was very good too, crunchy, light outside, creamy inside. Staff members were welcoming, friendly, brought my dog a water bowl, came to have a chat with us. The view was overlooking a beautiful small lake and there was warm sun where we sat. Can’t wait to revisit again soon! Thank you for a great time :)

The view overlooking the greenery and lake creates such a calm and relaxing atmosphere — a perfect place to slow down, enjoy good food and spend quality time with family. The restaurant feels spacious, comfortable and very family-friendly. We came with our 2-year-old son, and it was such an enjoyable experience. There was plenty of space, a nice outdoor area and a relaxing environment where families with young children can feel comfortable. The food was lovely, fresh and enjoyable. We especially loved being able to sit back, enjoy our meal and take in the beautiful scenery around us. A wonderful hidden gem in Lysterfield — great food, beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Had a wonderful lunch at Stella’s Kitchen today. I enjoyed the zucchini and basil soup followed by the apple crumble for dessert, and both were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. Ruby provided outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. Combined with the amazing views, it made for a really enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend Stella’s Kitchen for great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. What a beautiful place! We loved the ambience and gorgeous nature setting – such a peaceful spot to sit, relax and enjoy a meal. We ordered the French toast and mushroom breakfast, and both were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The combination of great food, lovely views and a welcoming atmosphere made it such an enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back and can see ourselves becoming regulars here. Highly recommend! 😊
